I am a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), National Certified Counselor (NCC), and certified school counselor based in New Jersey. With extensive experience supporting adults, young adults, and adolescents, I specialize in addressing a wide range of issues, including anxiety, depression, adjustment disorders, work-related stress, career counseling, and relationship/intimacy challenges. I have worked with individuals from diverse backgrounds, tailoring my approach meeting each client's unique needs. My therapeutic methods include Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Solution-Focused Therapy, Person-Centered Counseling, and Faith-Based Counseling.
I hold a bachelor’s degree with a dual major in Sociology and Political Science from William Paterson University and later earned my master’s degree in professional counseling from the same institution. Before starting my own practice, I worked in several private practices throughout northern and central New Jersey. I also served as Vice President of Counseling and Social Services at the YMCA of Greater Monmouth County, where I oversaw counseling services for youth and adults across Monmouth, Ocean, and Middlesex Counties.
In my practice, I emphasize the importance of building trust, fostering honest and open communication, and creating a judgment-free environment. I take a practical approach to therapy, helping clients clarify treatment goals, process emotions and past trauma, and work toward creating a more fulfilling life with positive outcomes.
